GOLD CREEK Inspections to Buy

Inspections  to  Buy  Our  Miniature  Cattle

If you have a genuine interest in purchasing Miniature White Galloway cattle, we are quite happy to talk with you and show you our cattle.  Buying livestock from someone, for the first time, is a huge undertaking. We understand this, and we are willing to accommodate such visits, if and when they fit in with the day to day running of the stud.

Organising an Inspection to Buy Cattle

Visits are by appointment only. To organise a visit, you will need to give us at least a week's notice and your Property Identification Code (PIC). You can't run livestock on your property if you do not have a PIC.  We now ask that potential buyers do not bring children or invite extended family to our property on the day of the inspection. Inspections to buy cattle and family outings need to be two separate visits.

Please include your home phone number (not a mobile) when you contact us regarding a stud visit. We do not organise the final details of a visit via email - home phone contact is a must.

Sadly, we can no longer accommodate the many families wanting to visit our stud to enjoy handling the cattle - especially during schools holiday. Unless you have adopted a cow or calf, family visits in school holidays are no longer available. School holidays, public holidays and weekends have been set aside for people with adopted cows and calves to visit their adopted cattle.

Be prepared to come in and enjoy handling the cattle. Our small cattle will be disappointed if you don't.

Not a Buyer  -  Why Not Adopt a Calf Instead.

Not everyone who falls in love with these miniature cattle is in a position to buy cattle. You are welcome to visit the cattle (but not in school holidays).

School holidays are set aside for people who have adopted calves. All the wonderful people who adopt our cattle are invited to come and visit them on the property. The adoption money goes to farm animal shelters in Australia, and everyone gets to cuddle a calf.

No one needs to pretend to be a buyer. Buyers and visitors are interested in different things. It is nice for us to know up front what we need to do to prepare for your visit.

If you want to know more about adopting a calf click on Huggie, the little heifer below.
